NATURE OF WORK

Encompass Area Managers oversee territories throughout Florida to maintain our brand expectations throughout our facilities. You will perform technical field audits with our proprietary technology and supervise sub-contractor crews within an assigned portfolio. As a leader in the field, you are training and developing sub-contractors to perform their duties to our company standards, meeting key performance metrics, and fulfilling our contractual requirements. With a large portfolio of locations, Area Managers are traveling to assess our quality of work and continuously contributing value to our clients.

 

Flexibility to schedules is necessary to respond to fluctuating service needs. Traveling is a requirement (Jacksonville south to Daytona to west Pensacola to north of Tampa up to Vero Beach Area)

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Train sub-contractors on all aspects of their job’s scopes and portal review
  • Maintain operating plans for each site assigned
  • Provide onsite training
  • Ability to utilize technology tools to manage work tickets and quality performance
  • Assist sub-contractors with assigned work ticket for timely completion
  • Manage and motivate employees, supervisors, managers, and vendors
  • Conduct site Q.A audits and service opportunities review with sub-contractors
  • Provide excellent interpersonal skills while interacting with customers and sub-contractors
  • Establish Best Safety Practices with sub-contractors
  • Interpret and implement quality assurance standards KPI’s with sub-contractors
  • Provide excellent professional leadership to assigned sub-contractors
  • Familiarity of all tools and equipment required to perform the assigned tasks
  • Knowledgeable of floor care and housekeeping in order to train and evaluate quality of work
  • Professional communicator that can express ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to groups and individuals
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements, SDS
  • Other duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
  • Valid Florida Driver’s license
  • 3 years industry experience
  • 1 year of supervisor/manager experience

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact
  • Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to, computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine
  • Ability to train on various floor care machines such as, auto scrubber, burnisher, carpet maintainer, extractor etc.
  • Ability to lift, move or carry 45 – 50 pounds
  • Frequent standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, sitting, pulling, pushing, reaching and kneeling
  • Must be able to access a variety of work sites to perform duties times varies, evenings, nights, and weekends.

 

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

  • General supervision is received from the Director of Operations who confers on difficult problems and reviews completed work for quality of professional results.
  • Tasks are usually performed under little direct supervision allowing use of independent judgment

 

SUPERVISION EXERCISED

  • Supervision exercised with all assigned employees and or contractors within assigned portfolio
